Space Coast Early Intervention CenterSpace Coast Early Intervention Center has nurtured the abilities of children for over 20 years! We are a nationally recognized not-for-profit preschool for children with and without special needs. Support from people and businesses from our local community and communities throughout the state of Florida allows us to provide quality, compassionate, and thorough educational and training experiences for young children, families, and those pursuing a career in the fields of health and education.
Our mission is: To be our community’s premier non-profit center for the support, care, and maximum development of young children challenged by disabilities and their typically developing peers. SCEIC opened its doors in 1987 to serve three children in a day preschool program. In January 2008 they moved into their new state-of-the-art building. Today, SCEIC offers programs, services, opportunities and products that enhance and change lives on a daily basis. Samplings of these are: Our Full Inclusion classes; Mommy/Daddy & Me; Early Experiences - a part time parent participation class designed to offer socialization and instruction; Afterschool 3 to 6 Mix; our Boundless Playground which is open to the public on weekends; Handwriting Without Tears; Weekend Respite Care; Kindergarten is Cool book and video; Kindergarten And Beyond – SCEIC’s special summertime program, as well as many other social and relationship building opportunities offered throughout the year. SCEIC is governed by a board of directors and led by the executive director. SCEIC’s goal is to find new ways to serve children with disabilities and promote inclusion in early childhood settings. SCEIC depends on grants, fund raising events, and donations to support the cost of day to day programs and operations. The center continues to raise funds to help pay reduce the debt on their new building. |

Taylor for Teens
Their mission with Taylor for Teens is to bring awareness to teen issues and guide teens to available resources.
In 2010 the King family lost their beautiful 14 yr old daughter, grandaughter, neice, great grand daughter, cousin and friend to suicide on Sunday, September 26th. Her name is Taylor Renae King and on that horrific day our lives changed forever. Their goal is to provide the necessary resources to anyone that needs help! Taylor for Teens want to put a stop to suicide and we're going to do it one student at a time. We need you though! We need you to spread the word about Taylor 4 Teens. We have many events going on and you can access our calendar by going to www.taylor4teens.org. We are a non profit organization and we run on donations alone. Your help is greatly appreciated and together we can make a difference! No family should ever have to endure this. It is 100% preventable.
