2013 Central Florida Shootout
The 2013 Central Florida Shootout is out of Port Canaveral and Sebastian and includes saltwater, inshore, and offshore species.
The Central Florida Shootout is a unique charity event that benefits one of the largest and most recognized charities in Brevard county, The Space Coast Early Intervention Center, along with Melbourne Central Catholic High School, Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation and Taylor for Teens. Last year (2012) we raised over $20,000 for the selected organizations. Each angler is eligible to win a new boat motor and trailer. Simply by entering the tournament. The tournament will also benefit the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation and will provide support to the Florida Sportsmen's Caucus. This support will be used to promote recruitment and retention for youth and lady anglers to protect our fishing traditions and natural resources for years to come. May 25th, 2013 - Saturday
Weigh-in starts @ 11:00am but you must be in line by 5:00pm. Weigh-in locations are Sunrise Marina (Port Canaveral) and Sebastian Inlet Marina (Sebastian). You must be in line by 5:00pm.
May 26th, 2013 - Sunday
Awards party is from 11:30am-2:00pm at Grills Restaurant located at 6075 U.S. 1 Melbourne, FL 32940.
