2012 Central Florida Shootout
This is the first offshore tournament of the season out of Port Canaveral and the only tournament around that includes freshwater, saltwater, inshore, and offshore species.
The Central Florida Shootout is a unique charity event that benefits one of the largest and most recognized charities in Brevard county, The Space Coast Early Intervention Center. Last year (2011) we raised $10,000 for the SCEIC.
Each angler is eligible to win a new boat motor and trailer. Simply by entering the tournament. The tournament will also benefit the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation and will provide support to the Florida Sportsmen's Caucus. This support will be used to promote recruitment and retention for youth and lady anglers to protect our fishing traditions and natural resources for year to come. 2/10 to 2/12 - Join us at the Old Florida Outdoor Festival in Apopka. The boat will be there and we will have tickets available as well.
2/25 - Join us at the Space Coast Beer Festival. Show your support for SCIEC and purchase your Central FL Shootout tickets at the Craft Beer Festival sponsored by Broken Barrel Tavern. It’s being held February 25th in Palm Bay from 1pm to 5pm for VIP and 2 PM to 5 PM for General Admission. Must be at least 21 to attend!
3/4 to 3/5 - We will be at the Grant Seafood Festival with the boat and tickets!
